TAREK FARHA
PRESIDENT
Tarek Farha serves as President of Universal Management Company, bringing more than 25 years of experience in management, finance, operations, education, and organizational leadership.
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a background in accounting, Tarek combines financial and business expertise with extensive experience supporting the operation and leadership of educational organizations. Throughout his career, he has worked with school leaders, educators, governing boards, and community partners to strengthen school operations, improve financial sustainability, develop staff, and create environments where educators can focus on student achievement. His leadership approach emphasizes high expectations, accountability, collaboration, financial responsibility, continuous improvement, and student-centered decision making. Tarek has continued his professional development through executive education, including leadership and business studies through Harvard Business School Online, applying concepts in strategy, innovation, organizational leadership, and value creation to the education environment. As President of Universal Management Company, his vision is to build an organization that serves as a trusted partner to schools—providing the leadership, expertise, systems, and resources they need to achieve their educational missions.
OUR COMMITMENT TO SCHOOLS
Every school has its own mission, culture, students, families, and challenges. That is why Universal Management Company does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
We listen first. We work collaboratively with school leadership and governing boards to understand where the school is today, where it wants to go, and what support is necessary to get there.
Our work may include support in areas such as academic leadership, financial management, budgeting, human resources, staff recruitment and development, compliance, school operations, facilities, technology, strategic planning, governance support, and continuous school improvement.
